AT THE DIVE SHOP

With Your Instructor

The PADI Seal Team program teaches responsibility and respect for the aquatic realm. AquaMissions 1 to 5, covers basic scuba diving skills, such as breathing underwater, clearing a mask of water, recovering a regulator and swimming around experiencing the sensation of being weightless. Each session takes about an hour. Complete these AquaMissions and become a recognized PADI Seal Team Member. Your experience may also count toward the PADI Open Water Diver course when you're old enough to participate in the course.

More Info
Scuba diving requires a minimum level of health and fitness. Chronic health conditions, certain medications and/or recent surgery may require you to get written approval from a physician before diving. Avoid disappointment, download and review the Diver Medical form to ensure you won’t need a physician’s approval to dive before enrolling in a scuba course. Instructors and dive center staff are not physicians and should not be asked for medical advice; only medical professionals can give medical clearance to dive. If you (or your physician) have questions about medical fitness to dive, contact the experts at Divers Alert Network (DAN).

Are you ready for the next step? Become a Open Water Diver when you turn 10 years old. Improve your buoyancy skills and learn everything you need to know about diving while you complete the five Confined and four Open water dives for your certification.
